Wondering why Campbell Street is decorated in Orange? It to acknowledge the global campaign 16 Days of Activism of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence which runs from 25th of November to the 10th of December. The colour orange symbolises a brighter future free from violence and our community's support for equality and respect.

This campaign is important to our community as the rate of Family Violence in Swan Hill from July 2023 - June 2024 was higher than the state average, ranking 5th out of 79 Local Government Areas in Victoria.
