Swan Hill Walk Against Family Violence

To start the global campaign, 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is a global campaign, Swan Hill are hosting a local Walk Against Family Violence on Tuesday 25th November at 11am. The walk will be in Swan Hill, starting on Rutherford Street on the corner of Aldi and LJ Hooker with participants walking down both sides of the footpath down Campbell Street finishing at the Swan Hill Clock Tower.

This campaign is important to our community as Swan Hill currently ranks 5th highest out of 72 Local Government Areas in Vicotria for Family Violence rates.

We encourage attendees to wear or bring something orange as the colour symbolises our collective commitment to preventing violence and creating a future where everyone is safe, equal and respected. At the end of the walk, attendees will hear from speakers and have an opportunity to learn more about family violence.
