2026 Citizen of the Year - Paula Williams (Starrs)
Congratulations to Paula Williams (Starrs), recognised for her outstanding dedication to our community.
A proud Swan Hill local and accomplished artist, Paula led the incredible “Give Where You Live” appeal, helping raise over $1.2 million for the new MRI at Swan Hill District Hospital in under a year. Through her leadership, generosity and advocacy, Paula has made a lasting impact on the health and wellbeing of our community.
2026 Young Citizen of the Year - Eva Wong
Congratulations to Eva Wong, an inspiring young leader recognised for her passion, leadership and dedication to community wellbeing.
As founder of Move Swim, Eva has created a welcoming and inclusive social swim community in Swan Hill that supports physical health, mental wellbeing and connection. Through her leadership, Eva continues to make a meaningful difference and inspire others across our municipality.
2025 Community Event of the Year - Up the Garden Path
Congratulations to the Inner Wheel Club of Swan Hill on being named 2025 Australia Day Community Event of the Year.
Up the Garden Path brought around 300 people together for a warm, welcoming winter event, supporting local stallholders and raising $4,000 for Cord Blood Research.
