Swan Hill Rural City Council continues to deliver projects and initiatives that strengthen our communities. From infrastructure upgrades to community celebrations, March has been a month of steady progress across the municipality.

Infrastructure and Capital Works
Council has continued to invest in essential infrastructure to improve safety, accessibility and community assets.
- Swan Hill Ten Steps replacement and three-tiered retaining wall completed, enhancing this well-loved riverfront area
- Crack sealing works undertaken on Murraydale Road to extend road life and improve safety
- Resealing works completed on Cocamba–Miralie Road, Piangil, improving driving conditions
Community Facilities
Key community facilities have been upgraded and enhanced to better serve residents and visitors.
- Two new buildings officially opened by Senator Michelle Ananda-Rajah
- Robinvale Recreation and Aquatic Centre landscaping enhancements completed, improving the surrounding environment
- New shade sails installed in Perrin Street, Robinvale, providing increased comfort and protection
Public Spaces and Riverfront
Council continues to enhance public spaces for community enjoyment and tourism.
- Refresh of the Swan Hill River Viewing Platform and Boardwalk
Community and Events
March featured vibrant community events that brought people together and celebrated diversity and culture.
- Harmony Day celebrations in Swan Hill, fostering inclusion and community connection
- Art Gallery of Swan Hill Art Auction and Gala Dinner – a highly successful event supporting the local arts community
