Swan Hill Rural City Council’s Youth Support Program is thrilled to announce that the much-loved Youth Summer Camp is returning in January 2026 — offering young people aged 15–18 an unforgettable experience of adventure, learning, and connection.
The 2026 Summer Camp will run from 20–23 January 2026 at the Anglesea YMCA Discovery Camp, with transport provided to and from Swan Hill and Robinvale.
Council’s Youth Support Coordinator, Will Burns, said the program continues to grow in popularity each year.
“We’re incredibly excited to bring this camp back again. It’s a great chance for young people to step outside their comfort zones, make new friends, learn new skills, and enjoy a few days away in a supportive environment,” Mr Burns said.
“From leadership workshops to fun outdoor activities like surfing, this camp is all about helping young people build confidence and discover what they’re capable of.”
The camp features a mix of hands-on activities and interactive workshops focused on leadership, skill development, teamwork, and self-reflection.
Council’s Director of Community and Cultural Services, Bruce Myers, said the program reflects Council’s ongoing commitment to youth development.
“We’re proud to support opportunities that empower our young people,” Mr Myers said.
“Programs like this create safe, meaningful experiences that help shape confident, resilient members of our community.”
The camp is open to young people aged 15–18 from across the Swan Hill LGA, including Robinvale, with a $50 non-refundable fee required to secure a place.
Spots are limited and filling quickly. Applications must be received by Friday, 19 December.
