Swan Hill Rural City Council would like to advise residents that Council will once again be offering a 50% discount on the cost of any new domestic animal registrations, from now to 31 December 2025.
Director Development and Planning, Michelle Grainger, encouraged residents to take advantage of the discount and register their animals with Council, before the end of the year.
“Registering your pet with Council helps us quickly and safely reunite you with your beloved pet if it wanders off,” Ms Grainger said.
“With half price registrations, now is the perfect time to register your pet,” she added.
Pets can be registered via www.swanhill.vic.gov.au/Services/Animals-and-pets, with annual pet registration renewals due by 10 April each year.
