Families across the municipality are being encouraged to enrol now, with four-year-old children set to benefit from increased kindergarten hours from 2027, as part of a Victorian Government initiative.
The expanded program, delivered by the Victorian Department of Education, will provide more learning opportunities for young children, helping to build strong foundations for school and lifelong learning.
To support this, representatives from the Department of Education will be available to answer questions and provide information at an upcoming community session.
Families are invited to drop in at any time during the day to learn more about the increased kinder hours, eligibility, and how to enrol.
Families with children approaching kindergarten age are encouraged to attend the session to hear directly from Department of Education representatives, ask questions, and ensure they are ready to enrol.
