Pool and spa barriers must be inspected at regular intervals to ensure they continue to meet Victorian safety standards.
Who can inspect a pool or spa barrier?
Barrier inspections can only be carried out by:
- A registered building surveyor
- A registered building inspector
- A municipal building surveyor
Council is not currently providing pool and spa barrier inspection services.
You can search for a registered building practitioner authorised to carry out pool and spa barrier inspections using the Building and Plumbing Commission Find a Practitioner tool.
